On this #MindfulMonday we are sharing a few tips to begin your week on a positive note and to help continue building the habit of being intentional and mindful.
🤫Quieting our minds can be really difficult but there are several different practices to try. Different approaches work for different people but give these ones a try:
📒Journaling – Purchase a fun journal or even one with daily prompts and write in it each day, or a few times a week. Write about what you are grateful for, your favorite memories, the people in your life
🧘🏽♀Meditation apps – Headspace and Calm are two great apps for meditation and practicing mindfulness. They both have guided meditations, helpful articles on sleep, stress and meditation AND they both have free trials so you can see which one you like best.
🌳 Spend time outside – Go for a walk and leave your headphones behind. Spend time in nature or take in the sounds of the city. Pay attention to the small details like the cold air on your face or the sound of your feet hitting the pavement.
